“You cannot be anything you want to be – but you can be a lot more of who you already are.”

Tom Rath

The above quote encourages us to become the best version of ourselves.
But of course you can’t do this without first knowing who you really are.

If you’re an apple tree, don’t try to be a pear tree.
But am I an apple tree or a pear tree?

With The Talent Passport you get a clear picture of your talents and how these natural qualities make you special.

Make a difference by being yourself!

You become the best version of yourself by developing your talents, not by fixing your weaknesses.

“It is often said that you have to dare to get out of your comfort zone. I think a lot of people just need to find their comfort zone.”

Wenneke Ong (Talent Passport coach)

Personal Development Plan

It is a logical idea to include ‘talents’ in a personal development plan. For example, at the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security, the annual development review has been renamed FIT review. This stands for: “Functioneren, Inzetbaarheid en Talent”, meaning Functioning, Capability and Talent. The FIT interview is about looking at how someone can bring their talents to the fore in their own job on the basis of a number of questions. Does the team know what your talents are? Are they being used? What role(s) can you take on? What support or training do you need to develop your talents? “Learn the skill to let the talent out.”
